06.10.2025 Visit to FPSK Headquarters
FPSK invites the Presidents (or their representatives) of all participating Federations to visit FPSK headquarters in Odivelas on October 23, 2025 (Thursday), between 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM.
23.09.2025 Transportation to and from the Pavilhão Multiusos
Transportation to and from the Pavilhão Multiusos de Odivelas will be provided free of charge by the organizers for those staying at the two official event hotels.
14.09.2025 Registration Deadline Extension
The registration period for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Shorinji-Kempo in Portugal—including the Study Session and Gala Dinner—has been extended until October 1, 2025.
President’s Message
WELCOME!
Gassho.
We are exactly one year away from the 50-year commemoration of Shorinji-Kempo in Portugal (1975~2025) that the Portuguese Shorinji-Kempo Federation (FPSK) will organize on October 24, 25 and 26, 2025.
There could only be one place chosen: the magnificent Pavilhão Multiusos de Odivelas, which in October 2015 successfully hosted more than 500 kenshi, in what was the most attended WSKO European Gasshuku and 7th European Taikai.
Twelve months before the most important celebrations of our art in Portugal, we want to invite the entire European and World Shorinji-Kempo family to be present at our anniversary party, sending a very special invitation to the Spanish friends of FESK, as one of the main events will be the II Iberian Taikai of Shorinji-Kempo.
After the great success of the I Taikai Ibérico in Seville (Spain) in June 2023 – a proposal from the FPSK that the Spanish Federation (FESK) hosted from the very beginning – it is time to bring together again in one event two of the most dynamic countries in the world when it comes to Kumi Embu and Tandoku (see other Events below).
Over these next months we will publish all the important information regarding the various events.
We look forward to seeing you in Odivelas and Lisbon in October 2025!

Note: Lunch on 24/10 is not included in the registration. Examinees must arrange their lunch so that they are ready and in Dogi at 13:00 sharp at the PMO (dojo to be indicated to the FPSK Sections with candidates).
Visit to FPSK Headquarters
FPSK invites the Presidents (or their representatives) of all the Federations present to visit the FPSK headquarters in Odivelas, on 23/10/2025 (Thursday), between 16:30 and 18:00 p.m. We advise you to plan your trip to FPSK headquarters using, for example, taxi, Uber or another similar transportation.
Presidents who intend to participate in the visit must confirm their presence by indicating their name to the email address of their 50th anniversary by 12/10/2025.

Iberian Taikai
Regulations
The Taikai regulations (including category information) are now available!
Registrations for participation in the Taikai must be made using the Excel files available below. Each Federation must send the respective Excel file filled in with the data of their athletes to the 50 years email address until August 31, 2025.
Important: Please be advised that the Open Taikai will no longer be held, as per WSKO’s instructions. The II Iberian Taikai remains unchanged.
